We know cakes and special events can be confusing and there's a lot of important questions that you might need answered. We've compiled a list of frequently asked questions and helpful articles to help you get the most out of your Bayside Bakery creation!


What are your regular hours?

Monday-Friday 730am- 4pm EST

Saturday 730am-2pm EST

What time can I pick up my cake?

Anytime between 10am and closing


What are your holiday hours?

New Year’s Eve (Cosed)

Can I place my order online?

No, orders can be placed by phone at 850-899-9229


Can I place an order and pick it up the same day?

No, you cannot place a custom cake order for same day pickup. We keep our case stocked with an assortment of fresh premade cakes available to purchase and can jazz them up with a message to customize it – give us a call to see what we have on hand!


How far in advance must I place my order?

Orders must be placed 72 business hours in advance to ensure adequate production time. Last minute orders might be able to be accommodated but are not guaranteed. 


What methods of payments do you accept?

Cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express are accepted.

 

What is your cancellation policy?

We understand that unexpected circumstances arise, and you may need to cancel.  For most orders, if cancelled more than 48 hours before pickup, you will receive a full refund.  If the order is cancelled within 48 hours of the pickup, no refund shall be issued.

Please note that tiered cakes, shaped cakes, and some of our more elaborate cakes follow different guidelines.  Because certain cakes are more time intensive and we limit these types of orders, we require payment in full at the time of the order..  Cancellations within days 5-14 before pickup will result in a full refund.  Cancellations within days 0-4 before pickup will result in no refund.


Can you ship items?

Unfortunately, we do not offer shipping.


Do you offer delivery?

Yes, we deliver to Mexico Beach, St Joe Beach, Port St. Joe, Cape San Blas, and Indian pass for $50 and Panama City, Appalachicola, and St .George Island for $200


How should I preserve my cake?

Most cakes are perfectly fine to be stored at room temperature or in the fridge with a 4 day shelf life. If refrigerating, take out of the fridge 30 min prior to eating and let come to room temp.  


Can I bring my own flowers to put on a cake?

Yes, fresh flowers need to be dropped off the day before the scheduled pickup or delivery

Do you have any gluten free products?

Because all of our products are made in the same facility, we cannot say that any of our products are gluten free.  We do have certain items that are Gluten Sensitive such as our coconut macaroons, brownies, Almond Joy bars, and crustless key lime pies.  We do not recommend these products for people who will have a severe reaction to gluten.
